When the building blocks your buyer's loan.
A buyer you brought to a condo is told the project does not qualify for a conventional loan. Refer the association to us. We work with the board to find out why and what to fix.
How a referral works
Find out why
We check the usual causes: reserves, delinquencies, insurance, litigation and ownership concentration.
Talk to the board
We contact the association and explain the specific items a lender needs fixed.
Stay informed
We discuss appropriate updates with the association so you can understand the next step.
Three steps
Refer the association.
Use the request form and choose "Real estate agent," or sign in to the agent portal.
We contact the board or manager.
We explain what we need and quote the review before any work begins.
You hear what we find.
Once the report is in, you know the cause and the likely timeline for a fix, to the extent the association can control it.
Be honest with buyers about timing.
Some fixes are quick and some take months. Commercial use may need a more involved review. We tell you which kind of problem you are looking at. Buyers who cannot wait may need a different loan type, and a lender can explain those options. Condo Consult does not make loans.
